EMPLOYMENT
Manager, Publications and Websites Design – American Academy of Physician Assistants, Alexandria, Virginia. Submitted strong publications designs and original website concepts encouraging constituents to seek new contracts from COMS (Constituent Organization Management Solutions). Analyzed and developed descriptions of the constituent management requirements for the academy's website and brochure. Proposed, initiated, wrote, designed, and published newsletter and website guidelines. Enhanced corporate stationery, revised membership packages, updated CME (Continuing Medical Education) promotions, and produced custom designed websites.
Creative Director – Advanced Optical Technologies, McLean, Virginia. Provided art direction to AOT to initiate corporate projects including Renaissance Lighting logo, Lighting Design Magazine advertisements, product catalog, product packaging, multimedia presentations, and website. Introduced and promoted Constructive Occlusion, AOT's patented lighting industry invention, on the Internet through my Renaissance Lighting website.
Senior Graphic Designer – Maden Technologies, Arlington, Virginia. Developed Powerpoint presentations that produced maximum impact on the target audience which included the federal government and the US military. Revitalized the US Army's OPTEC (Operational Test and Evaluation Command) Magazine using a dynamic interplay of armaments and artwork that successfully promoted their agency.
Art Director – Hennage Creative Printers, Alexandria, Virginia. Designed collateral for annual conferences and exhibitions for the Electronic Industries Association (EIA), the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), and the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). Managed large documents for the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Antique Shows that included organizing hundreds of dealer ads. Managed the annual publications projects for the US State Department Diplomatic Reception Rooms. Mastered professional printing requirements at this well-known and highly respected Washington firm.
