commisioned Jay M. Roth to design a 1983 Anniversary Edition
car. Officially, only 25 of the cars were produced, though the
exact number is disputed (a few 20th Anniversary cars have out
of sequence vin#'s including the prototype). These cars incorporated
the first fundamental changes to the Avanti since the introduction
of Avanti IIs in 1965. Interiors
were black with gray inserts in the Recaro seats. 20th Anniversary
insignia were installed on the glove box door and the front
fenders. The engine was the 305 horsepower and the transmission
was the 700R4. Use the Registration Form at the bottom of this
