| The Joseph Douglas Earl Awanti Awards were presented
at the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan on March
31, 2008. This was an important event for the Avanti that was
featured in a four page article in the Spring/Summer
2008 Avanti Magazine. Attending the ceremony were competition
winners, Evan Pipta, Colin Bonathan, and Florin Blebea, and
their guests; award presenters, Lewis Schucart, Avanti Magazine
Editor, Tom Peters of GM, and Marc Santia of WDIV; Mike Baker,
President of AOAI, and the owners of several Avantis displayed
inside and outside the museum. |
