Profiles – John J. Cafaro's Four Door Avanti
In March of 1989 John J. Cafaro unveiled
a four door sedan version of the Avanti at the Greater New York
International Automobile Show. The four door Avanti is surprisingly
attractive. However, with four doors, square headlights in square
bezels, massive body-contoured bumpers, and no forward rake the racy
elegance of the original has been considerably altered.
