In March of 1989 John J. Cafaro unveiled
a four door sedan version of the Avanti at the Greater New York
International Automobile Show. The four door Avanti is surprisingly
attractive. However, with four doors, square headlights in square
bezels, body-contoured bumpers, and no forward rake the racy

| Four Door Avanti Ads
These ads portray four door sedan versions of
the Avanti. The Cafaro era ads appeared
around 1990. They are the most professional and appealing
ads since the classic Studebaker
ads of the early sixties. The four door version gives
the car a more subdued appearance. Four door Avantis are very
rare.
