This transcription of a 1963 Studebaker promotional film to YouTube video shows Andy Granatelli's record breaking test drives of the Avanti on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The car broke 29 records to become the "World's fastest production car." The video is 5 minutes and 17 seconds long.

"This is a Studebaker Avanti promotional film from 1963. The Studebaker Avanti set all kinds of land speed records for a factory stock off the show room floor vehicles. These records remained on the books for many years. Top speed was almost 169 miles per hour. Not bad for something you could buy at your local Studebaker Dealer for 5 grand."
