Archie comics
"Pals'n'Gals" series was popular during the Studebaker
Avanti era. Reggie drives his uncle's 1963 Avanti in the classic
comic book, Archie's Pals 'n' Gals, Giant series, Number 23,
Winter 1962-1963. Though not featured on the cover, the Avanti
is the subject of a two part adventure inside. The full-page
first panel has Reggie roaring to a screeching stop in front
of Archie and Veronica. "Holy smokes! It's Reggie! .
